Retail looks past its old love — the films
Hasbro's diversion and authorizing business came to $115.8 million in the second from last quarter of 2019, up 20% from the earlier year, and the organization promoted the early client excitement for its "Frozen II" and Star Wars items.
Then, at that point, the pandemic occurred. Cinemas shut, films got deferred and toy organizations were left hanging. The effect is as yet being felt on cinemas: Great Films' parent organization petitioned for financial protection this September.
